3rd day. Tour to Trakai, the historical capital of Lithuania. It is a small island town. In 1321 Grand Duke Gediminas built Trakai castle on the peninsula of the lake Galve. It is an amazing place to feel the ancient times of Lithuanian history. Have a romantic lunch in Trakai on the bank of a picturesque lake.
Return to Vilnius to the hotel. Transfer from Vilnius to Druskininkai. Check in at a hotel. Druskininkai is a quiet Lithuanian health resort in the south of Lithuania. Pine forests, white sands create a unique microclimate in which the air is fragrant. Woods surround the area and there are a lot of parks to have a quiet walk or ride a bicycle upon your wish. There are mineral springs gushing in the area and you can drink from them. One of them is called “Love and Beauty”.

Have a rest on the bench in front of the heart of Druskininkai: Lake Druskonis, where several families of white swans live. Visit a church in Druskininkai – near Lake Druskonis there is a beautiful square and a garden near the neo-gothic church of Virgin Mary.
Druskininkai is famous for Grutas Sculpture Park. It is exotic because of the Soviet sculptures. The park is located in a scenic lakeside nature preserve in a tiny town.
Transfer to Kaunas after lunch. Do you fancy a romantic horse riding in Birstonas on your way to Kaunas? It doesn’t matter if you have never ridden a horse. We promise you will have a great time with a professional crew!

5th day. We recommend you a romantic route from Kaunas to the Baltic sea along the Nemunas river. This road is considered to be one of the most beautiful roads of Lithuania. It is rich in historical monuments. You will visit three castles along this route: Raudondvaris, Raudone and Panemune. You will see Seredzius Hill and Taurage Castle as well.
You will start from Raudondvaris – a settlement with an extremely memorable panorama. Then you will go to Seredzius, which is located near the confluence of the Nemunas and the Dubysa. Seredzius Castle is weaved with romantic legends. There are very beautiful views of nature to watch on the way to Raudone! Raudone’s Castle is really an impressive one. It was a very luxurious palace in 17th century, but damaged a little bit by a fire in 19th century. The castle has been restored and it is possible to climb to the top to admire the beautiful landscape. Panemune Castle stands on the high bank of the Nemunas river and is hidden among the trees.
On the way to Palanga you will cross Taurage. A palace, which resembles an ancient castle, stands in the centre of the town. This building is a reminiscence of a late-Gothic and Renaissance style castle.
Check in at a hotel in Palanga in the evening.
6th day. Spend your romantic day in Palanga – a resort town near the Baltic Sea. Palanga is famous for its historical sites, natural and cultural monuments. We suggest climbing to the top of Birute Hill, where you can admire the Baltic Sea. Palanga is famous for its Botanical park – a marvellous place to have a promenade in! There are picturesque paths; swans and birds swim in the ponds. The Palanga Botanical Park is considered to be one of the richest and most beautiful parks in Lithuania. You may watch a famous sculpture of Egle near the central path of the Botanical Park. Egle was a legendary wife of a sea serpent.
There is a Neo-Renaissance style palace and the Amber Museum in Palanga. The story about the origin of amber is weaved by a very romantic legend about Jurate and Kastytis – the sculpture of those two lovers stands in the square near Palanga Bridge.
According to the legends Naglis Hill is known as the grave of Naglis, a courageous military leader, it was his bereaved wife who buried him there…
