2nd day. City tour around Vilnius. The tour includes a visit to the Vilnius Cathedral, Pilies street (really warm atmosphere in the evening going up the street to the Town Hall Square), St. Ann’s church (the most magnificent Gothic church in Lithuania – a very small, elegant and fragile one), the Gates of Dawn with a chapel housing a holy image of the Virgin Mary. You will climb up the Gediminas Hill and the Hill of three crosses. There is a castle on the Gediminas Hill and amazing view overlooks the Old Town. You will have a promenade in the park that lies near the hills. It is very romantic to go along the river Vilnele that flows into the Neris.
In the evening you may go to “Akropolis” – the capital of trade and entertainment. There you may go to the most modern cinema centre to watch any romance film. You may have your dinner in a pleasant environment.

3rd-4th days. Leave for Trakai, the historical capital of Lithuania. It’s a small island town. In 1321 Grand Duke Gediminas built Trakai castle on the peninsula of the Lake Galve. It is an amazing place to feel the ancient times of Lithuanian history. Have a romantic lunch in Trakai on the bank of a picturesque lake.
Return to Vilnius to the hotel. Leave for Utena. Have a romantic tour with a canoe or a kayak through the lakes of Aukstaitija or the river Sventoji. It is a real paradise for the lovers who enjoy going boating on rivers and lakes. Sventoji is one of the most exciting and beautiful rivers in Lithuania. There are about 100 different lakes in Aukstaitija, so you have an opportunity to choose various short or long routes through the lakes.
Accommodation at a hotel in Anyksciai, the town, which is situated at the confluence of the Sventoji and Anyksta rivers. This small town is located in a really beautiful place of nature – surrounded by the parks and forests, at the confluence of two rivers. Here you may feel romantic in the hands of nature!

5th day. Transfer to Palanga via Siauliai – the fourth biggest city in Lithuania. Visit the famous Hill of Crosses and leave a cross for your eternal love!
Check in at a hotel in Palanga. Spend your romantic half of the day in Palanga – a resort town near the Baltic Sea. Palanga is abundant in historical places, natural and cultural monuments. We offer you to climb to the top of Birute Hill, where you can feast your eyes on the Baltic sea. Palanga is famous for its Botanical Park – a place to wander and relax! There are picturesque paths; swans and birds swim in the ponds. The 100-hectare Palanga Botanical Park is considered to be one of the richest and most beautiful parks in Lithuania. Among the garden sculptures which have been made for the park in recent decades, a statue of Egle, Queen of the serpents, a popular figure in Lithuanian mythology is to be found near the northern entrance.
There is a Neo-Renaissance style palace and the Amber Museum in Palanga. The story about the origin of amber is weaved by a very romantic legend about Jurate and Kastytis – the sculpture of those two lovers stands in the square near Palanga Pier which runs 400 m into the Baltic. It is a particularly popular rendezvous-point in the evening when crowds gather to watch spectacular Baltic sunsets.
Naglis hill according to the legends is known as a grave of Naglis, a courageous military leader, it was his bereaved wife who buried him thereā€¦
Palanga is famous for its night life in the summer – live and loud music, people in the streets. But if you want to be alone you can find a very cosy and quiet place to have your dinner. It is the town of lovers – sea, beach, beautiful parks; this is really a place to be together!

6th day. Leave for Taurage. We recommend you to continue a romantic route along the Nemunas river from the Baltic sea to Kaunas. This road is considered to be one of the most beautiful roads in Lithuania. It is rich in historical monuments. You will visit three castles along this route: Raudondvaris, Raudone and Panemune. You will see Seredzius Hill and Taurage Castle as well. You will start from Taurage. The palace, which resembles an ancient castle, stands in the centre of the town. This building is distinctly reminiscent of late-Gothic and Renaissance style castle. Then you will go to Panemune. It’s Castle stands on the high bank of the Nemunas and is hidden among the trees. There are very beautiful views to see on the way to Raudone! Raudone’s Castle is a really impressive one. It was a very luxurious palace in 17th century, but a fire damaged it in 19th century. Nevertheless the castle is restored nowadays and it is possible to climb to the top of it to admire the beautiful landscape.
