Vilnius Picture Gallery

    The Chodkeviciai (Khodkevich) family’s palace, built from the early 17th to the mid-19th century, was transformed into a museum in 1994. It now houses a collection of Lithuanian paintings, drawings and sculptures by local artists from the 16th through the 19th century, works by foreign artists who lived and worked in the mansions of the Lithuanian nobles, works by professors and students of Vilnius Art School (1793-1832) and paintings by Pranciskus Smuglevicius (1745-1807), founder of that School, exhibition "Baroque Art in Lithuania".
