Nida

    Nida – a town encompassing the entire Lithuanian part of the Curonian Spit. The four settlements Juodkrante, Pervalka, Preila and Nida are all situated on the road which is approximately 50 km long. It is known as a small fishing village as well. Nida is only 50 km from Klaipeda, but it is considered to be the place of natural beauty. We pride and joy its nature. The dunes and the quaint brightly painted wooden houses make your leisure time more pleasure and exciting.
    The town is divided to three separate villages. It is extended along a 2km-long road. The population of Nida is less than 2,000 people. In summer over 50,000 people usually have vocation here. The white-sand beaches of Nida always attract tourists from Lithuania and all over the world. Those beaches and sand dunes are reasons enough to come here anytime of the year. But you have to be careful - it is illegal to walk on the dunes. Nevertheless you can entertain yourself by searching for amber and walking along the seashore.
